Quentin Tarantino is a distinguishable character. His films are easily visible from a crowd. Tarantino uses his techniques and repetition in most of his movies. Discovering these methods is a task I took the liberty to do. As well as finding out the dirt on Reservoir Dogs.
Tarantino films with the camera looking up at Mr. White, Mr. Blonde, and Mr. Pink from inside a trunk. The same signature filming techniques are used in Pulp Fiction and Jackie Brown. In Mr. Orange's apartment there is a box of Fruit Brute cereal. The same box reappears in Pulp Fiction. Michael Madsen's character Mr. Blonde is the brother of Vincent Vega (John Travolta) from Pulp Fiction. Mr. Pink (Steve Buscemi) expresses his aversion of automatically tipping waiters. Ironically Buscemi has a cameo appearance as a waiter in Pulp Fiction. Tarantino originally wrote the part of Mr. Pink for himself but changed his mind later. Steve Buscemi originally auditioned for the part of Mr. White. Michael Madsen originally auditioned for the part of Mr. Pink but ended up playing Mr. Blonde. Tarantino wanted to play Mr. Blonde after Mr. Pink. In Reservoir Dogs the actress pulled out of her car by Mr. Pink is the same person as the innocent bystander shot by Marcellus Wallace in Pulp Fiction. Samuel L. Jackson auditioned for the part of Mr. Orange, but the role went to Tim Roth. Tarantino enjoyed Jackson's work so much that he specifically wrote a part for him in Pulp Fiction. The Big Kahuna burger was eaten in Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction.
Quentin Tarantino himself said in an interview "When Mr. Pink runs out of the building with the diamonds, police officers can be heard shouting at him to put his hands on the ground. Gunshots can be heard, and then Mr. Pink shouts that he has been shot. You can then hear the officers talking to each other as Pink is arrested." Confirming that Mr. Pink did in fact survive. In Tarantino's attempt to have some foreshadowing an orange balloon is bounced on the road behind the car Nice Guy Eddie is driving. Also, during Mr. White and Mr. Pink's conversation in the warehouse bathroom there are seven bottles on the shelf behind them. One of the bottles is white, three of them are pink, and there are orange bottles. The orange bottles are segregated from the white and pink bottles.
